The question was this: “What does it mean to have a son? Or conversely, what does it mean to have a daughter?”. I have no answers… I just wanted you to know that I’ve been thinking about it. I’ve been feeling less nervous about you showing up into my world… I’m excited to show you things. I want to introduce you to the music that has shaped my life, the joy of cooking and Star Wars. How it’s just as important to learn how to change a tire as it is to tend a garden. I’m going to teach you how a cliche like “don’t judge a book by its cover” can be true or a lie. I’m also going to teach you what a cliche is.
